What are you doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
We maintain strict sanitizing guidelines per state/county health codes and per our food handling course guidelines. In addition to the health code standards, we sanitize to 140°F (vs 110°F)
What is The Silo doing to help those with severe allergies to certain ingredients (gluten, wheat, nuts, etc..)
We store wheat and nut products separately and use dedicated scoops for each product type, but wheat and nut products are filled at the same stations. We wash our scoops and filling stations after each use, and food storange bins more frequently than required by code. However, we cannot prevent complete cross contamination (i.e. we are not a gluten-free ceritified facility). If you have severe food allergies, please contact us first so we can answer your questions.
